Waiting For Change

Been trying to do more artwork with deeper themes behind them. This piece was partially inspired by the song/music video Harakiri by Serk Tanikian. When you think about it, the world is in a terrible condition that continues to grow worse and worse due to human hands. It forces the question, can and will things ever change?

This piece was originally very roughly sketched out on paper. And I mean VERY roughly. Then ultimately attacked with water color x3 Eventually I added blue and green to make the iris resemble the Earth, but it didn't really stand out or even LOOK like Earth Then I added a really...terrible background with colors that just did not work at all xP In the end, instead of redoing it, I just played with it a little in adobe photoshop. This was the result 

Will most likely post the WIP image I took before adding color. I actually really like the looks of that one in particular ^^
